Spring Professional, expertos/as en selección de mandos intermedios y directivos/as, así como de perfiles Executive, opera a través de las siguientes áreas de especialización:

Our client is looking for a young talented Sales Manager, based in Bilbao. The candidate will report directly to the Head of the Sales Unit, responsible for the sales in Spain and Portugal. The candidate will be directly involved in the sales of the Group products in his/her area of responsibility.
 
 
 
Main responsibilities
:
-
To visit regularly customers, to analyze consumption referred to the area of responsibility and clients? needs in order to optimize sales and service activities; to act in the common interest in order to solve any issue related to prospective orders;
-
To seek new customers in the area of responsibility;
-
To report analytically on a regular basis information obtained by the market, including competitors? activity, new products development and/or requirements of the area of responsibility, information about customers? and/or purchasers? creditworthiness/order book;
-
To show autonomy although operating in agreement with the company guidelines and the selling strategies established from time to time by the Sales Director/ate;
-
To make offers and defines terms of negotiation in compliance with the shared business logic; to optimize sales according to the plants workload and to enhance the value of represented products;
-
Proposing the sale of the different products managed by the Business unit of competence
-
To investigate new supply solutions for existing/potential customers interacting with company functions involved;
-
To assess customers? creditworthiness and financial exposure interacting with credit controlling functions; to comply with the corporate policy about credit controlling and provides debt recovery assistance;
-
To provide effective support in the management of all order related issues (delays, unconformities, etc.) coordinating with back office and sales controlling functions with a proactive attitude, offering analytically effective problem solving instruments; to guarantee the best possible solution both for customer and company in compliance with restrictions/limits imposed by procedures in force.

Act as interface and filter function in bidirectional communications between customers and the commercial back office, both for the request of information and for the support to the resolution of problems
 
Required skills and experience
:
-
Degree in Engineering, Language, Law, Economics, Marketing and Communication
-
Experience in sales, management ideally gained while working within an aggressive sales office environment, knowledge of steel products is plus: flat and long, especially hot rolled coils, cold roll coils, pickled & oiled, galvanized, wire rods, and hot rolled plates
-
Willingness to travel frequently. You will be expected to travel to both in Spain and Bilbao basis

Strong interpersonal skills; can communicate effectively and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization

Resourceful in their approach to resolving day to day operational Sales issues and queries
-
Ability to work independently and initiative.

Works collaboratively with others to achieve excellence

Humility and ability to listen and learn from others.
